01.2004-08.2004 Advisor – the research project titled ‘The Indigenous and the Immigrant: Maori-Chinese Encounters’, The University of Auckland, New Zealand. The project has been supported by the Royal Society of New Zealand – Marsden Fund.
2002 - grant from Ministry of Culture to do research on Croatian immigrants in New Zealand. I focused on the issues of identity, memory, gender, community and the politics of belonging.
